FREMONT, CA: Urban air mobility (UAM) can disrupt air transportation by bringing disruptive innovation to the aviation industry, mobility system, and urban development. The UAM is attracting the attention of various stakeholders, institutions, and companies thanks to technological advances in batteries, electric and distributed propulsion, and the ability to design novel aircraft types capable of Vertical Take-off and Landing (VTOL).
