Career Journey And Impactful Strategies At XPO I joined XPO Logistics over 20 years ago on the graduate development scheme after gaining a BSc Hons degree in Management from the University of Manchester. I also completed various professional development courses, including one at London Business School. My career journey has been one of working for a great business with some phenomenal people who have been instrumental in having the privilege of being managing director for the UK & Ireland. On my day-to-day, I bring in my extensive experience in networked operations management, warehouse solutions, automation, acquisition integration and business development. The fundamentals of a successful business aren’t rocket science; they’re about understanding your customers' needs, putting their requirements at the centre of everything you do, having great people who are passionate about delivering the best outcomes for the customer and providing those great people with the tools and training to excel. The customer-centric approach is built on long-term and trusted relationships, some of which have already lasted decades and provide excellent service and value.Success Isn’t Just About Having Great Products And Service, It’s About Daily Execution, Adaptability, And Continuous Improvement.
